Forgot what it was like to die.....then...
Wow, how tough is the mistlands? I'm dying all the time, usually because I can't see the 2 one star seekers and the seeker soldier approaching. Flailing around hitting nothing and die in 2 hits even with full armour and the best food with health near 200. I've lost all my gear in a dungeon and it is being guarded by a flying seeker that hides when I try to kill it with arrows. I'm going to have to go back fully armoured and leave something behind unless I do two trips. All that for one core!
My skills are back in the 40s and some are now almost zero due to dying so much.
I wonder if they will tone down the difficulty?

Also always enter near the plains. 3 Lox will kill that 1 star seeker. My main way of killing mistland mobs is with plains mobs. If things get too tough run back to plains and find some lox or a group of fullings. And the opposite works, If there is a lox spawn near where you head in try and get a few to follow you in and let them do the fighting.

If nothing else, THANK YOU both for saving me the hassle of getting back into the game. It sounds like it's back to an unbalanced state, so I'll stick with Warhammer until the posts come back into "challenging but doable solo" state.

Been playing solo since the beta release, it is definitely doable solo. I've got everything unlocked and made both sets of armor + weapons. It's the largest spike in difficulty so far, but if you take your time and pick your fights carefully you can progress. First few sessions I would die a couple times, but once I got some mistlands gear and more knowledge the deaths stopped.

Make sure to bring Bonemass buff in case you get attacked by a group of Seekers or any star variants. You can eat a lot more hits even without blocking when you have it active.

ive been playing hide and seek with a one star seeker , he is blue , i cant klll him - im in a hut in the plains on the edge of a mistland and he just keeps coming and smashing everything , tried walls he goes over them , tried stakes , concrete , marble - he smashes everything ,eats the mushrrooms and destroys the long boat .....all i can do is hide ....two hits and your dead ....padded armour and 200 health ....i killed everything else in the area but this guy is a menace ....im yet to find a dungeon but cant imagine surviving it either
