This is a pretty niche want to be honest. The physics of objects currently in game is limited for such wants so you'd either have to use items already in game like a short cut log or something you roll like that or a wild creature.

Or, you'd have to consider making a mod to match your wants. This reminds me of people in TF2 eons ago making soccer game mod maps and there werent many that did such really.

you can kick objects around. The first thing that comes to mind is a broken cart box. Put 1 trash item in each slot of a cart and break it, it makes boxes you can kick around.
but there may be something much better (?) ... a moder egg is more round but a little large. A troll head or other monster head?

Honestly, it would be kind of fun if you could turn one of those oak logs into a ball. I'd probably settle for rolling it down a mountain, but you probably could build sort of a wooden rollercoaster for it down a mountain.
