Flesh Rippers are fun and fast but block is horrible in fact im not sure you can block with the FR's...

Abbyzal razor is iron tier knife and ubber easy to craft if you sail a lot

I have always been a Mace guy. Every new world its been mace. However this run I decided to go knife and it's sick AF. It's crazy fast, does good damage and the jump attack is bad ass. I only have a copper knife as I just got to swamp but my skill is 46 and I am lovin it so I second the knife for those reasons.

Go get your abyssal knife, that things awesome, only need workstation 1 or 2 I think for repairing I'm just going off memory, so it's versatility is better than a metal knife actually and it will easily last you to plains.

Well porcupine is best overall damage type vs all ( blunt+pierce, o nly abomination resist both but the rest of mobs just 1 or no one )
And sword basic af ? For you dude , because special attack is best backstab attack than knife ( jump sometimes fails because buggy hitboxes ) , specially if its a Blackmetal
And you can parry a stared fuling with polearm sorry dude

It depends on the biome. Iron mace is best all the way to mountains. Silver sword, then once you get to the plains it's end game weapons (I'm still using frostner though). I like the idea of doing everything with one type of weapon, sounds fun, and I might give it a go from scratch once I've done the plains fully

Porcupine - and it's a light too, Silver sword up to plains.
