This is a steam wide issue, i have multiple other games that will not update as well.

same problem, multiple restarts and verifying and clearing download cache doesn't work. submitted a support request. hopefully they'll get it fixed soon, preferably before I have to go to work :D

I am having the same issue after this patch, have restarted both steam and my pc. Says there is no internet connection but all the rest of Steam and my pc are working fine.

Same for me, but I also can't update the witcher 3. It says for both games that I have no internet connection. My internet is fine. I am thinking steam is having some issues right now.

I have been able to launch the game via the local files on my pc, clicking on the valheim file. Still does not update the game but it is playable and saves to the cloud
