Construction frustration!!1!!
What did I do wrong here? I used those 4x2 blocks to create a circle and all parts of it are correct, but when I try to construct a wooden frame on top of it, it doesn't quite work.

So i guess the idea is that you want the distance between the stone and wood to be the same from any location?
Your best option will be to make wooden beams in a 90 degree angle down to where the wooden beams need to be. Then connect them by overlapping them .

The two blocks on the right side of the second screenshot seem to overlap.

Btw, i think the "overlapping" stone blocs (prioritizing the outer edge + overlap inside) look better than those with gaps on the outside imo.
