We had roughly 2 years with almost no content releases because they were fixing bugs instead, fair enough, except now they're breaking fundamentals: controls - and they're breaking them because they ported during early access. Furthermore that porting wasn't supposed to impact PC development, and yet here we are.

Perhaps try understanding what's happening before you comment.

I feel ya, in the last 3 years i've seen more controller support issues than in the previous decade. The new standards for drivers etc thats pushed by Microsoft and Sony are just pure garbage, and can stop working on a whim.

Tbh, its 100% on iron gate that they failed to provide consistent controls binding, but also working on this stuff in this day and age must be a nightmare. Only 5 years ago you did not have to had contingency plans on "what if the drivers randomly blow up". If stuff worked once it usually worked till hardware broke.

And today here we are, preciously storing old drivers that disappeared from manufacturer site already so that "just in case" they can be used to make ♥♥♥♥ work again. (recently logitech GHUB had another meltdown after windows update and we had to roll back 3 years for a fix... nice)
lol it's something of a miracle that things work at all sometimes.

Like buying a new car which is full of bugs. You get the bugs fixed then have to trade the car in for an exact replica for whatever reason every month. This one has all the bugs from the first one still. Rinse and repeat.

Because they rushed out an xbox release on an unfinished game and have had to fix their controller support multiple times - breaking controls for everyone each time?

I mean I'm glad they're thinking about it, but maybe spend an update cycle nailing it down.
