I play Valheim with my wife and a few longtime friends I trust. In other words: people who don't suck.

We all know we *can* use the "use character on server, use same in private world, cheat in goods, go back to server...", but none of us are interested in screwing over one another, and we want to play the game without using cheats. In fact, on an older map I used https://valheim-map.world/ but on *this* map we decided against doing that. While we know we can, we simply don't want to.

Find "friends" that don't suck. Play with people who don't suck. That's really your best option, regardless of the game and what possible "exploits" it may have.

I dont see how any of this is a problem - this isnt an MMO and to be honest this game isnt fun with random people anyways (and not made for that aswell) since most progression etc. is bound to the server. So either play the game alone - no problems - or with a group of people you know (or look for a group) - no problem aswell ...

If you are looking for some sort of competitive MMORPG etc. this game probably is the wrong choice.

Did you maybe mean public servers, not private servers? There are no new safeguards against people server hopping or griefing others, if that's what you mean. If you DID mean private, the game is still intended as a co-op experience for 1-10 people, and from the start has worked great with private dedicated servers.

No exploits on my private server that friends visit. No idea what you are talking about.

If you go to Google and type exploits for (name of game here) you will get thousands of pages. Not helpful at all.

Wards, working as intended.
devcommands are only for server admin, and it is my understanding that the server needs to run the mod.
item dupe glitches? really? It's a f'n glitch.
boss skip exploits? No idea wtf you mean, but you can play this game anyway you like, it's your $20.

As for your many more, I am still waiting to see one.

And why would private servers be a terrible idea? If you're joining a private game, theoretically you're at least acquaintances with the game host and they would be less likely to troll you than just some random person on a public server.

What kind of exploits are you talking about?
