Item despawn time?
so i have made a farm under a Greydwarf nest to farm wood stone etc while being afk. do items despawn while im afk there? and how long do items stay before they despawn. would be nice to sit there for like 30 min to an hour sp i dont have to pick up and sort all the stuff too often. will it despawn if there are to many itmens at the same area too?

What if they are within a 20 meters?

What if they are within a 20 meters?They wont despawn. You can AFK farm the whole day. But if you are using fire for farm, be sure to repair it from time to time.
And when there are a lot of the same items around, they will stack in one item.

Items despawn after 2 ingame days (about 1hr) if they are not within 20m of a structure that establishes a player base, like a workbench, campfire, or torch. Your character's position does not matter.
