I never use Caps Lock, so I made my Caps Lock button send "h" instead. It works like that in any application now, though. You could rebind it to send "Ctrl+F3". Or bind Ctrl+F3 to a mouse button if your mouse came with a software for editing buttons.

AFAIK you can't. I also find the lack of explanation for the additional key-binds... disturbing.

use the steam overlay in big picture mode. You can remap anything including combo keys.

The Q (auto run) key was the bane of my existence until a friend pointed out that I could change it. Now it's the Home key and never gets pressed.
