Can´t enter my old world
So, I bought this game a few months back and loved it. I took a break that lasted a few weeks and when I came back I couldn´t enter my world. It happened before the big update so I don´t think that´s the problem. I tried making a new character and even verifying my game files and so far nothing seems to work.
Basically everytime I try to enter the game loads for a second, freezes and if I press anything the game crashes.
What do I do?

Being after the update might make it even worse. My old world took awhile to load and did the same thing. If I clicked it said close or wait to respond. I just left it alone and eventually it loaded in. I'd say let it load, go do something, come back and see if it works. Not ideal but its something?You, good sir, are a genius!

I had this same issue. I uninstalled the game. Then went to the folder location in steamapps/common and deleted the Valheim folder completely. I then did a fresh download and install of the game, and it loaded up perfect. I did this post Hearth and Home update.
