How to use teleport command

Got tired of some of the game's antics and just want to check Mistlands out of curiosity. I'm trying to teleport to a place using the goto command but I can't make it work (I can make the god command work so the devcommands seem active). Can someone give me an example with made up coordinates of how to properly write the command?

Thanks a lot in advance.

coordinates are always displayed as x.y.z

goto <space> x <space> z <space> y
enter
exit console
teleport

fly is good but don't use debugmode where z enables flying in normal
mode or if you accidently hit the z key you fall out of the sky

goto doesn't use the height (y) value, just the map position. It will place you at the same height unless that height puts you in conflict with or below the terrain, in which case it will elevate you to be properly standing (also important to remember as you'll spawn in midair if the new location is at a lower elevation than your starting point).

Had a simialr issue where I could not figure out HOW to see the co ords of where I wanted to go!

In the end sidestepped the issue by using the wold generator web ap to dupe my seed world because that has a cursor tool tip showing the Co ords of wherever you have it on the map.

Goto 0000 0000 enter worked though as others said you tend to be 100 scale feet up!

well first you need coordinates and it looks like you have to go there and
use the command pos

{MAYBE you could use the mapgenerator site to find coordinates you
haven't been to; I think that's where I got the mistaken idea the map
automatically displayed cursor coordinates)

this gives you x,y,z coordinates ; great

BUT goto x y z is ACTUALLY goto x z y

even then it borked my height a little

and <I think> you need to exit the console for the teleport to happen

incomprehensible; good luck
(enabling god mode was suggested to avoid falling damage)

Couldn't get it to work either way. Ended up using "fly".
Thank you for your answer.

Oh, OK, I tried like this
goto [x,z,y]
and
goto x,z,y
and even
goto -[x,z,y]
That's why it didn't work, I didn't use spaces.
Thanks again.
