Lets not forget to mention the Deathsqeetos that chase you for kilometers befor one shotting you becase you got too close to a Plains sandbar in the middle of the ocean.

I agree with the OP, this is something that the devs should consider adjusting.

The distance that some of the mobs in this game will chase you is beyond Ludicrous. As long as a mob can path to your PC and the chunk they are currently in is loaded and being updated you are in potential danger. I've had a half dozen Furlings chase me across a huge Black Forest Island and into a Meadows area before, was not at all fun.

Something tells me there's a part of this story missing. Maybe something like " i was drunk texting while sailing my karve too close to a plains biome and agro'd the local homies after trading paint with their beachfront property. They proceeded to wreck my whip and leave it on cinder blocks faster than I could say "lox ♥♥♥♥"

nah just hugging coastline got ones attention and he followed me forever while keeping up with me at half mast no less plus throwing rocks while swimming.....ridiculous

You must have piss them off something serious you should’ve left them in the dust and they should’ve stop chasing you.
