it's an abandoned game where there hasn't been a major update for a year. they have alot biomes to work on so it will probably be finished in 2029 or 2030

If you've checked out the game info then you probably have realized that this is about Vikings.

I somehow doubt that Vikings had access to black powder, when actually nobody in Europe at that time had access to it. Took a few hundred year more before it was discovered in Europe (the chinese of course had it way before us).

So, no. No AR-15s or AK-47s. Not even a musquette.

Oh so it's about Vikings well I also like Axes and other brutal Viking weaponry.

Does it have like a story or just survival and sandbox.
How well is the building mechanic? Cause I like building stuff.

Story is pretty minimal to nonexistent. It is pretty much almost a survival sandbox, with certain requirements (you need to kill bosses) to progress.

If you like building, you will probably like Valheim. It has a very nice building system, that I come to like much more than the one in Conan. It's probably not as vast as pure building simulators, but it is pretty nice.

IronGate did a lot of things right with Valheim and unfortunately a few things wrong. This game drips atmosphere by the bucket load. The different environments are all beautiful and the lighting and weather is something to behold.

Just be aware that this is not a game for graphic snobs that can only stand ultra realistic graphics. The graphics are pixelated, but the environments are really beautiful, so you really forget that the models and textures themselves are rather crude (mostly, not all).

The world and its denizens are vaguely adapted from nordic mythology.
Some monsters have clearly non-physical attacks or abilities, like throwing thunder, breathing poisonous gas, or casting a healing aura.
Some recipes could be interpreted as being alchemic, as do some crafted items.

I believe it's fair to say that they are a minority, and finely embedded in the game settings.
That's all.

Yeah I don't mind low res textures I think lighting is what makes a game look good or bad.
