Linux mouse sensitivity
Great game! I've played on WIndows and Linux (Proton 5.x). The mouse is a bit pokey on Linux however. Takes a lot of hardware movement to actually turn the character around. I've increased the pointer sensitivity at the Linux command line with
xinput set-prop "Logitech M570" "Coordinate Transformation Matrix" 2.4 0 0 0 2.4 0 0 0 1
and although this affects the mouse pointer when in the menu and inventory system, it does not seem to have any effect on the character movment. Any way to fix this? I've got the in-game sensitivity jacked all the way up.

OS: Windows 7 or later
Does not seem it is meant to be played with linux.
I advice to get a windows copy.

I play the native version and mouse speed seems ok to me. Maybe you can try to set it manualy in ~/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/prefs where i have <pref name="MouseSensitivity" type="float">3</pref> which seems to be max one can set in the game settings.
Edit: with Proton the path will be somewhere where you have Valheims wine prefix ofc, sry:]

Look in the settigns menu, controls tab at teh very top there is a mouse sensitivity slider to adjust it.
When I first started playing it I had to tweak it a bit too.
you might also want to try using Proton 6.whatever the latest stable version is just to have the latest stability and optimization features

First off the mouse sensitivity is a game setting that is set at a default that might be too high or low depending on the base OS settings regardless of it beign Windows or Linux.
Second, Valheim and a lot of other games work great on Linux thanks to Proton. I currently play Halo: Master Chief Collection, Neir: Automata, and Final Fantasy XIV using Proton. All Windows games, all of them run beautifully on Linux. And once I figure out how to get my 3D printer's software working with Proton I'll be saying good bye to Windows.

Me too, sensitivity set to max in game on Linux (native, not Proton), and it's too slow to be comfortable. Restarting the game does not help either. Version 0.203.11.
In-game menu and inventory indeed have good mouse speed, aiming the character is far too slow.
