they should. as far as the game is concerned the ground is still "Meadows" even if it is high enough to get snow. Although the devs might also have added a flag that snow prevents plant growth regardless of biom. be interesting to test. I think I remember seeing some meadows right near the snow line South of my main base. Maybe if I get boared I'll check it out. :)

Could just be because of altitude.. if your minimap says "Mountains", though, you might not want to stick around there at night. :)

No no, definitely Meadows.
My sacrificial stones spawned on top of a high mountain so I build right next to them.

Snowfall is altitude-based in Valheim. So if your Meadows building is elevated enough, parts above the limit will receive snow.
