Will provide some screenshots of things i have build and are currently building one and if you accept my request. you will notice some of the mods in action.

Its a great game but it has bugs or other features that make no sense.

Unrestricted Portals - it makes zero sense to not allow ore and ingots through
Farm Grid - no more wasting seeds cause you can't eyeball perfect squares
Planting Plus - I got tired of hunting for thistle
Clock Mod - No more waiting to do a run for resources cause you don't if you have time for it before dark.
Simple Recycling - can't believe it isn't in the base game.
Equipment and Quick Slots - a luxury, could live without
Instant monster drop - don't have to wait 3 seconds after you kill something to get its drops.

I haven't find a mod that shows you the actual terrain you see when you sail instead of the smaller minimap. Its a bug in my opinion.

Odens Architect, Epic Loot, Equipment and Quick Slots, BetterUI, Better Portals*, PlantIt*.

And a whole bunch more, i have tested up to 112 mods on nexus and now running ONLY 66 mods that add new features and make the game playable for longer. no time for so called cheat mods. Hope This Helps.
