I think the red bar is progress within a skill level, eg if the red one is half full, you are halfwa through to the next skill point.

Yep, yellow is overall skill, red bar is progress till next level, when you die you lose all of your red, and a few levels of yellow in each skill.


Just some other skill info for you, when you look at a weapon, it give you an attack number, this is the MAX damage of the weapon, but you will deal less, it's slightly random, but the 2 number is yellow paranthesis is your actually damage, you cannot reach the max damage until the weapon skill is 75

And skill levels 75-100 just help bring up the low rolls

The block skill on the other hand, actually adds to the block armor of your shield :D
