Thank you! yeah we have a portable and beached in the swamp... We still have the portal but tried to beach else wear in a seperate swamp and lost our boat and all our gear as well lol. died 100 plus times trying to get it back. Im gonna get off though :/

It's impressive that you were able to hold the swamp beach :D
Getting all the spawns at once rather than picking them off, is a killer, beaching in an adjacent biome ftw

Do you use portals? once you find a swamp, keep traveling until you find a meadow area or a dark forest area (DF is still dangerous to beach though) that is still connected to the swamp island and place a portal down and travel from there. trying to beach at a swamp is a death trap. portal the ♥♥♥♥ out of it lol

Once you establish your self on a meadow beach the safest bet is to build a portal on top of one of the swamp crypts making sure you can get up but the enemy cannot.

Portals, poison resistance mead, and bows/wood arrows will get you your gear back. May take a lot of kiting, but it'll be more satisfying if you do it yourself than if you enlist help. Graves don't expire. Your gear will be waiting for you. And remember dodge-rolling gives you a split second of invincibility.

Might take you a while on a raft to place the portal, but you'll make it so long as you place the portal in a meadows/forest near the swamp. And don't worry about anything that was in your boat, it'll still be there in crates.

If you can't find any crypts, look up the valheim world generator, plug in your seed, and it'll tell you where crypts spawn.
