stone golem
So whats up with the stone golems I had 7 back to back, I thought they only spawn when you come near them but I didn't leave my house and another one showed up right after I killed one. I mean I didn't go near anything think. Are they suppose to spawn one after the other like that I'd like a break

They spawn randomly at 120 meters or higher, same as any other mob.

Means you built right next to a golem spawn point. Move your house or dig a big pit to capture the golem and then don't kill him so no more will respawn.

or set up a workbench in the area where they spawn.
