You should read early access terms again. They could abandon the project and not write a single new line of code and there's nothing you can do about it. Don't spend money on unfinished games if that's a problem for you.

Coffee Stain games are known for their quality, not their timely update speed. People do remember their company, because they put out solid titles.

Not trying to tell you to be a better person, but perhaps you should explore the microtransaction-riddled games with the "new cosmetics every hour", if that's what you enjoy?

I plan to keep eating, breathing, and playing video games for a few more years, yet... I can wait.

I've made 3 games. Not any good ones, but I DO understand what goes into it. And I'm not saying ANYTHING in regards to that. It's like none of the people replying here are even reading my posts.
READ CAREFULLY:
1. I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the game.
2. I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the developers.
3. I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on them because of the game. More because they keep lying. Either HIRE MORE PEOPLE and hit the deadlines in your Roadmap, or give us an explanation other than Covid (which we all know wouldn't affect the progress of a game development too much anyway since it could mostly be done at home) for why they haven't done ANY of the things they promised us for the last 3 years.

I get that it's a pre-release, but that still doesn't give you the right to claim you're selling something you're not. And when you release a Roadmap alongside your game, saying you'll do your best to adhere to this plan. I expect you to do so. And if not, give me an explanation. Don't go radio-silent and never make an update for years. That's pathetic.

How would making 3 bad games give you an understanding of what goes into making a good game?

Anyhow, all of your ranting points have come up before.

• Hiring more people doesn't work like you think it does for a bunch of reasons I'm not interested in rehashing.
  
• The roadmap was indefinitely suspended for reasons I don't remember, source: a link I can't be bothered finding.
  
• Their main reason for delay was, I believe, not covid but in fact the unexpected popularity of the game highlighting many more bugs than they thought - those took focus off of content and into fixing the core of the game.
  
• A roadmap is not and cannot be a guarantee, for the simple reason that ♥♥♥♥ happens. This angst is also why, presumably, they haven't gone back to a roadmap - and why, I believe, Steam no longer allows such roadmaps as it infers false promises.
  
• They didn't go radio silent, clearly you haven't been paying attention and/or didn't bother searching before ranting. I get it, I really do, but if you cbf looking before posting try a better attitude and asking what happened - instead of getting angry about what you imagine happened.

Early Access isn't for you, that's for sure. You should stick to full releases. Yeah, it's taking a while to develop but that's up to them. Am I going to go on a spite campaign because you have ADD? Nope.

Yea, that's exactly what I'm saying. They promised us a bunch of content, so we bought it. Then when they realized they had more than enough money, more money than they ever anticipated, they realized they didn't NEED to finish the game. So they said ♥♥♥♥ it, we'll just make do with the money we already got. ♥♥♥♥ the game. ♥♥♥♥ the fans. We'll just lie about a Roadmap, take a 3 year vacation, and laugh in the faces of everyone we scammed money from with false promises. Then release a small update to revive the interest, take some more money, and ♥♥♥♥ off again.
If they EVER release ANY new content besides new gloves or shoes, I'll be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazed. But as you're saying, they're doing it at their own pace. Which is none. Because they already got paid. The scam is over. They have no need to update. Just remember this if you ever see Irongate or whatever they're called release a game again. Just know that it'll never get any updates or DLC.

Hope they get the same hate as EA and Blizzard.
