Hmmm, I have some bad news for you about the trolls...........

The deer in my area seem to make a pretty similar sound as in-game. Not completely the same but the same type of sound just a different pitch.

Most of the deer around here are very quiet and typically make almost a low mooing/grunting type sound when talking to each other.

The dear in game definitely bark more like dogs.

Im a hunter and deer can make these sounds, they are called bleets, when they are scared, which is realistic, since you are "jumping" them

The sound is similar to a real deer, they just seem to add a little flair to it to make it sound prettier. You are in Valheim after all, a magical place of magic and wonder, Charlie!

lol I agree on the 'prettier' part. After going thru a lot of youtube deer sound videos and my own hunting experience deer are usually much harsher in their bleeting or quite a bit higher in pitch. I've also noticed the lack of snorting which is a common alarm signal.

I think the devs are missing a chance to scare the krapp out of players as many deer sounds are straight out of a horror movie. Having one of the boars come up behind you and squeal while you're sneaking can be quite the heart pumper.
