Normally I run in a big circle in the range of the attack area and hope to stir up Stone Golem's and Drake's to help out. But that gets old when Ive already killed them off before when they messed with me before Wolf attack.
So I went about 100 meters from my castle and dug a square hole 10 x 10 meters, deep enough my head is just under the ground around hole. From there I put down crafting tables around all 4 edges down in hole. From there I used hoe to make a column in the center so I can stand on, so I can watch them go crazy and what gets caught in hole i kill with arrows.
Reason for Crafting tables is, if the tables are not there the wolves figure out they cant get to you, so they run for your castle, etc and start knocking down your build.

Most used here, great for getting back to base late or after dark when you are carrying a ton of ores or whatever and you have no rest bonus left. Obviously it's good for combat situations, but I main it if I'm grinding for sure.

Jump into a rock , use bonemass power and spam iron sledge smashes = GG bad doggos

I love the hunt--free hides and meat, delivered to your doorstep. Bonemass + Iron Sledge = lots of dead wolves. Good times, probably my favorite event.

I did that with the best available rock that time. I got all but 3. Suckers jumped on that rock like a fat kid seeing cake. LoL 28 is a lot tho. "Do I have a pork chop around my neck?" They caught me with my Bow armor on too, that didn't help any.

Well, they technically respawn indefinitely, so killing them all is impossible. If you have any spare wood, you could quickly slap down a Workbench and a couple wood floors on a tree or something and then jump onto said platform. The Bonemass power can also help a ton.

Yeah this event needs some work in order to not be just an insta death if you are playing solo. The workbench, platform combo trick is your best bet. Cheese the cheese.

The main issue with invasions is that enemies spawn nearly instantly up to the local enemy limit. This is great if you intend to farm monsters, the faster you clear them the faster they'll respawn. However it means fighting your way through is NOT an option.

Run. Run away, don't look back. Invasions have a very short life and cover a relatively small area. Escape is your best way of surviving. A solid fortress wall will also work, enemies tend to not attack walls until they smell a player nearby.

Bonemass power is the best combat power to keep on hand, if you intend to fight through.

Hunted event is tied to killing Bonemass.

Bonemass power is perfect for dealing with Hunted event.

To be fair, Bonemass is useful in damn near ANY situation, including hunts.

Eikthyr helps with corpse recovery, but
bonemass prevents corpse runs in the first place.

I really try not to die.
The only thing I use it for is if I happen to run into a 2star troll when I am in leather and a crude bow and he spots me. Other than that I forget I even have it, does not really last long enough for hauling stuff, and too long a cool down. Same as the others but for what it offers.. meh.
I can see it more being useful for troll armor players who want speed all the time or something? I would use it in scout mode but A. length of time it works and B. not having it in a crisis moment like running into the butt of a 2* troll.

Easiest way to cheese a wolfpack is to get some high ground, even if it's just a decent-sized rock. Wolves have no ranged attacks, and if you can get to a spot where they literally can't reach you by any means, you can just wait them out.
