Hearth and Home Seeds?

Will hearth and home release a new series of seeds, or will all old seeds translate to new released areas such as Mistlands and such?

I was looking to make a template world where I could make my main fort and then simply reload it anytime a new update needs to be applied to the world map.

Thanks

Is this from a seed list, or literally # 006. ?

You can definitely create a new world with the same seed.
Might have to name it differently though unless you delete the old one.

Do keep in mind that it loads in a chunk of around 500m around you. So those 500m around your base will not be affected by any changes in future updates.

I am not sure that you are fully responding to the question I am asking.

If I were to reuse an old seed, in a totally new instance, would the new unused and unexplored copy of the previous seed work to expose the new content on the new instance? Or is there a new seed generation that will be specific to the releases of new content. Kind of like car VIN numbers, different series of numbers spawns different and updated content.

I am not simply saying use commands to rehide the map and such.

I would just like to create a main location, and save that creation and back it up, and reload it each time new content is released so I can re explore that new released information with a existing copy of the village I built.
