The wolf cape requires silver and a wolf trophy, so you will only unlock the recipe once you acquire one of each of those. The trophy is a matter of RNG in how many wolves you need to kill before you get one.
Sausages require a level 2 cauldron; you need to build the spice rack, which in turn requires turnips as the hardest-to-get material. Thistle and boat meat you most likely have collected in the past.
