Enemy attack awareness is over amped
I think the hunting aspect of the game is pretty much ruined, atm. No matter where you are, how far away, or, how much cover you have, you hit ANYTHING in the back it comes right to where you are, like it's psychic or something. I can dig them knowing which direction the attack came from and searching in that direction, but come on, nothing can know the exact spot the attack came from and run right up on you like that. Enemies need a new more realistic algorithm for searching for attackers.

Ai and Pathfinding is a very complex topic.
For a small indie team with their first Game and specially a EA game i must say its at least made solid.
So you are right, but i wont expect changes in this Develoment stage

Hmm, you are in a forest, suddenly you make loud noises where other things live normally and you think they are not going to come and defend?

Honestly I agree, after taming and sneaking since the update, enemy awareness and aggro is much more sensitive, even loxes, if you make sounds (only certain ones) from 30 m away, they'll be in investigating mode and home in on you. Necks will aggro you if you shoot a bow even if the arrow did not zip anywhere close to them. I think it needs to be adjusted. Even just tossing a berry onto grass for some reason alerts everything in a radius.
Do you mean for the Mistlands being worked on first or EA in general? Thing is this is a core mechanic, I'm sorry but the developers need to hone the core mechanics first before expanding the game. The latest H&H changes revealed a lot of cracks with how everything works. Combat, Stamina and Skills changes need to be made for the best experience. Ai and Pathfinding is a very complex topic.

It does seem like the loxes are more sensitive, but that may be due to being able to tame them now. I agree that it's not exactly realistic, but I wouldn't expect that with this type of game.
I find fulings the most realistic in their actions, although I don't understand how you can almost skim the top of their heads with arrows sometimes and they don't notice. Nor do they necessarily notice their buddy dropping dead in front of them!
They should also train them better to sound the alarm and not try to one-v-one when they do notice someone shooting at them.

I just find it strange. I'm a sniper player, for the most part. I like to hunt with bow and arrow, though targeting could use some fine tuning. Anyway, I can get the 'missed and they didn't hear it', but unless you one shot them, they are coming straight where you are at break neck speed. I know this, cuz i high tail it out and I can see them searching the area I was standing. Anyway, doesn't seem to be a way to be a sniper, unless you are a one shot wonder. Enemies are never confused, except the animals, but that's on par with expectations.
