Well we originally were setting up the bottom portal further away from the tower and running into it (which worked) cause we thought you needed to go through the portal. But then trying just a straight drop cause sometimes it looked like we hit the top and it worked. So after setting up a straight drop aka no keyboard required, we basically hit the top of the portal and it still counted as going through portal. It seems the hitbox for the portal goes up a bit further than one would think.

Not sure about if there's a second player going by at the same time would stuff things up, I don't think that would matter as one can usually head through portals simaltaneously as another player, I would have loved to show the video but seemed like too much effort to post lol

This is vanilla? How are they positioned as to allow vertical movement perpendicularly?
Is it the mod for pivoting the objects that allows this?

Fzanco said they were able to transit the bottom portal by landing directly on top of it. I'd expect there were a few casualties during the alignment process

Yes this is vanilla, this test proved you can fall into/onto a portal from any hieght and not take damage as you technically pass through portal before damage is applied. Do with this info what you want

Most definitely possible, prob take a minute or two cause of the portal load times.
