54 mods, none of them broke during this last patch...

Copy game file.. launch from desktop.. never worry about updates again until you want to.

When you scroll down on the page, there's a description on how to do it manually and either Windows or Linux ("Installation (manual)"). Assuming Windows: You download the "manual download" on the right upper side of the page, extract the download into a folder right in your download folder, you open the folder inside that folder which is called "BepInExPack_Valheim", you copy everything in there (I think on the page of the download there's a screenshot of that, too) and on your steam game you hit the gear on the top right of the valheim (before you start the game), find the location of the files of the game and paste the stuff into the folder structure [steam location]\steamapps\common\Valheim (this should be right where the link from steam to the game files takes you, so this means the main "Valheim" folder of the game - as you already had Valheim Plus, there should already be a folder called "BepInEx", don't touch it, but just paste into the Valheim folder but so you know you are at the right place, it should ask to replace like 100 something files, click yes and you are good to go)

getting my mods from vortex I can say I tried to find this on the site and it doesn't list bepinex at all let alone this version. it has mods using bepinex, but not the bepinex itself. dunno what to do, I can play at all, it won't let me click on start button and yes I even tried going to previous stable game. Previous patch took me 5 days to get back into game, hopee this doesn't take that long again

also, this is just my 2 cents, but ditch vortex... it's terrible for valheim.... my recommendation is just to do all your modding manually, (place the files where they need to go manually), or if you must use a mod manager, use R2ModMan.... it's much better than Vortex.

Thank you! That just saved me (only using Valheim Plus and was waiting for a new version there, but simply the BelpinEx solved it as you said :-) )

Yeah, that works fine for clients. Getting my server updated and mods working was a bear though. Ended up having to back up BepInEx folder and needed files, uninstall Valheim server, delete diretory and reinstall the server, re-add the updated mods and core files (unstripped, etc). finally got it to work. Was the most trouble I've ever had just upgrading to work with a new patch.

To get Valheim Plus working on clients and server, I just updated to latest BepInEx 5.4.21 and Grantapher-ValheimPlus_Grantapher_Temporary-9.9.13's patched ValheimPlus.dll
