Bridges?

Is there a way to make bridges across the ocean?

Is there a cheat or mod where I can put my stations near areas that are red?

the devs are working on better snapping options - so building bridges is no longer complicated

What do you mean by this? How do I do this? Wooden iron poles?

Both the iron cage walls and floors and the iron beams provide same amount of support, but the latter have diagonal pieces and are cheaper to construct.

ValheimRaft has structures you can build anywhere in the ocean. Corewood or stone, then from those foundations you can add anything you want. Very easy to build a bridge across any ocean.

Without mods or messing with your config files there are items you can spawn in console commands that will give you (blue) foundation in mid air. one is a mine-able stone pile, and my favorite is goblinking_totemholder.
the totemholder you cannot break or deconstruct, so if you place it incorrectly, you need to use a command to delete it.
I use "forcedelete radius=1 goblinking_totemholder"
This trick has allowed me to make towers that reach the clouds and stadium sized buildings without mods or editing files.
Check out my screenshots for a few examples.

Did you enable the setting to remove structural integrity. It is NOT enabled by default, you have to explicitly go in and enable it. According to the documentation, if you enable it, you should be able to build things that are suspended in the air.

You have to open the config file and edit it to turn different features on or off. Make sure to save a copy before you start messing with it, but it does a good job of explaining what different things do.

it depends on the size of said ocean. a very small ocean biome for example a water channel between 2 islands can get bridged legitly. a big one is legitly impossible tough. atleast for now.

There are mods that removes the structural integrity requirement, such that you would not need support beams that touch the ground, allowing you to build a bridge as large as you want.
I know it's one of the settings you can toggle on in the Valheim+ mod[www.nexusmods.com]; it's probably also a feature of some smaller mods that don't do a 'bunch of other things' like Valheim+ does.

It depends on a couple of things. One is how far you want to go with your bridge and if there are rocks and boulders that you can use as attachment points. You can also time the waves and use the hoe to raise terrain in shallow water to create attachment points where there are none.

The very first game world I played in I had to do that as my start island was pretty small and I had mined every thing out on it before I completed bronze gear. There was a rather large island across a narrow channel that I was able to build a bridge to. I built workbenches on the rocks and use wooden floors to cross the gap.

Of course that island was infested with trolls and I hadn't yet found enough spare cores to build 2 portals but that's a different story.
