I mean, you aren't forced to build around one, its only a single point in comfort, its hardly something you need. That's 1 minute more of rested status, and you can already hit 17 comfort, 24 minutes without it. (out of a 21 daylight, 9 minute night, cycle).

They can spawn in the world?, never saw one, most my time was spend on completely exploring islands.

Well that is kind of the point of the discussion... most of the time when you find one you don't need it anyway and in the case of the one I did find and build around I had to move an already existing base/portal hub to it. More trouble than it was worth honestly. Not by water or any other resources.

They will patch it out later. If you want it though you can probably use console commands to build one anyway.

I build them indoors, protected from everything. I don't see why they would get removed from the crafting menu.

Actually, that plus to comfort IS valuable. Are you seeing how much your skills go UP while you have comfort buff?

Also, the devs don't comment here so as far as we know, yes, they are staying craftable, but things can change.

They are likely to patch it out again after the holiday, according to chatter from the devs on their discord.
