It is this however that makes me want to suggest a 'sandbox' option...mostly for building buildings and trying to go where your imagination takes you and not limited by where your resources let you go.

In games like this...I probably spend 60-70% of the time working on my crafting and building, making the latter look ideal...pretty and functional, before spending an inordinate amount of time on the main goal of the game, whatever that might be.
