People can squabble over the reasons for such slow development but the reality is they took a great success and due to whatever reasons they pretty much killed the golden goose. They know this we all know this and as such I would imagine they are scrooging their money away knowing that there basically will be very few future sales of this game to increase the pot of money. The game died a premature death due to lack of updates and content. The average person wont even remember this game by year one anniversary let alone still have it installed all due to choices of the devs.
