Yes I do. It takes about a minute, unless there is already one available, which there often is.
My gameplay is certainly not for everyone, but when I played with portals, I would just drop a workbench and portal, hop through (pretty much straight into bed), hop out, break down, and carry on. I assume you must do something similar, although every 30 minutes instead of 20?
Unless I'm piddling around the house, hopping home at night makes much more sense anyways. In the field I would spend most of the night dealing with mobs if I didn't sleep, using more food, wear on the equipment, etc.
Every 30 minutes I go back to base and deposit my inventory, get 30 more minutes of rested, and then go back to what I was doing. I have probably slept a dozen times on a world closing in on 1300 days, and those times I slept were usually to pass a storm at night that was making construction of a project difficult. I said this previously a couple posts up, but all these times where you have to stop and go get rested back at base, or build a fire and sit on the ground for a couple minutes, your food is always ticking away. So now you have to eat more food for the same amount of time you're actually "playing". Now you have to spend more time farming and raising animals and foraging, now you are spending more time standing in front of the cauldron making food, more time in front of the ovens baking those foods. All they have done is superficial increase the grind with no real benefit. It is a lot like the fishing system, on the surface it looks much more fleshed out but in reality they didn't really do anything except hide the best stamina food behind a bunch of inventory clutter like having 10 different baits and having to have 270 stamina to reel in a fish from 7 meters. The only fish worth catching is the Anglerfish.
You're clearly playing a builders game, which is fine, and, TBH, I don't really care about rug nerf or not, but to make it sound like the end of the world that you have to spend a few more seconds of your time resting seems a bit extrema to me.
But now, I need to get off the back of yet another Leviathan, pick up the serpent meat from the serpent that almost chewed through my karve, make sure the karve is still sea worthy, and try to get back to dry land.
