You actually can do it with iron beans too , and thats not 50m high in the video , gates x5 = 15m ( those are 3m high when iron beans 2m )
Highest iron beans+stone pillar is 28m
People in the video just are saying that its more confortable to make walls for 1x1 stone walls with iron gates...

This video is only part of a very large project, I could not find the video of an insanely huge castle that did this technique to go very high.
