I wouldn't mind a "slow" mode that increased the time for basically everything (food buffs, passage of time in game, debuffs, etc.) by a fixed percentage, now that you mention it. Would take some consideration to implement, though, I suppose (e.g. doubling the time of Poison but decreasing the damage per tick by half).
