grab everything! you'll unlock recipes by picking it up its ingredients, so pick up everything. as recipes unlock check your workbenches and hammer for those new things you can make, and then make them.

organization is your friend. i typically keep a few chests near my benches, rather than having a warehouse. tip: you can use the 1x1 floor as a sort of shelf to stack your chests.

I had no idea that I could stack chests. That'll be useful for me right now until I can make a house with some real space. Yeah I was right next to the Black Forest and unknowingly built my house right next to it so I had to be extra careful around that troll. It was frustrating...I had just trapped and tamed a boar and he came to kill the poor thing and destroyed my fence. I don't know how to farm resources from animals yet anyway without killing them but at least I learned how to tame. And better a boar and fence than my house...so I'm glad I kept him away from it and eventually killed him. I'll go to the spawn point and hang that trophy up then. Thank you!
