I am fortunate I guess in that it only affects this strip of earth near the entrance to my Draugr Longhouse.

This is what happend in my friend world as well.
Actually it was the opposite as the ground colapsed for him.
He manage to fill it up and before it colapsed again he paved a stoneroad over it.
After that he did not had the problem anymore.
