of course you can also fend off hordes of one hit mobs wchich attack you literally all time while u gather resourcess for crafting lol ,also u can gather food resourcess thru week wchich will feed u thru 2 days adventure *thumbs up*

A week gathering for 2 days adventuring?? That's pretty much the exact opposite of my experience in normal play - now some hardcore modes do tend to approach that but that's not what the OP is asking about.

I mean for the ones you can't farm, just mark the spawn places on the map, drop a portal in the middle of a bunch of spawns, and run through once a week or so. Farming isn't so bad either if you use something like spiral planting instead of trying to make the most out of an area - also allow for 10% wastage, and plant both food and seed crops at same time - allow an extra day to allow for some of the too closely planted crops to mature and just show up once every 4 or 5 days depending on crop to harvest and replant.

Now if you don't want to do any taming or decide you only want serpents and fish or something - well that's on you. Since H&H the difference between best and 2nd best foods (or even 3rd best in some cases) isn't all that critical except perhaps for boss fights.
