yeah i'm only complaining because i love this game and i dont think the devs should squander the games own momentum by waiting so long to make an update that by the time there first update comes out everyone has left and they dont care to come back i have seen this happen many many times

This is a EA game, anything can happen. The game can be abandoned, or it can reach even higher success, it's only a matter of time to see which one will happen but we can't judge a 5 man team with an indie title making it into a triple A quality game in 5 months or so, have patience, give them a chance and a bit of time. My investment in this game was already worth it, so any extra is already welcomed
