Worst case you can just run around and kite them within the red area for about 5 minutes or so for the "raid" event to despawn, then you can kite the mobs far away from your base and lose them through traditional means.

When it comes to ditching mobs, what I've found to work well is to sprint away and break LOS then go into stealth and stay out of LOS. They will move about for a bit trying to find you but if they can't they will go about their business and leave you alone.
