Brute force learning how to deal with this place is too expensive time wise. 20 minutes for the power to come back up. Time spent making all the food buffs. And it's mostly because the mechanics are just.... unfinished.

There's nothing masochistic about having to prepare before going into a zone. There's nothing masochistic about gearing yourself appropriately when you don't know what to expect and death is probably likely. The entire genre of traditional Rogelike games are exactly this (encounter > Death > understand > encounter > death > more understanding). if what you said (only masochists/gatekeeper blablabla) was true, Valheim wouldn't be as successful as it is and the Roguelike/Roguelite genre wouldn't have experienced a massive resurgence. But i appreciate that you don't like it.

it takes 5-10 seconds to regen a stamina pool of roughly 200 points when you have your rested bonus. Stop trying to spam action and you'll have better luck.
