If you use mods at all (did you experience the game at least once in plain vanilla mode?) I would highly recommend ThunderStore. Doesn't need registration, has over 1100 mods. Autoupdates them, you can have profiles, you can individually dis-, enable mods or start the game completely unmodded.

Much, much better than all those manual methods (haven't tried Nexus, I don't register for stuff like that).
