Instead of relying on hilariously-bad "cLoUd CoMpUtInG!1one!1", I would instead create a .bat file to just double-click after every time you play to make manual backups of your character/world.

The only real difficult part in doing so is if you also use 7zip and want to pack them in rar/zip/7z files.
