For Viking era you would bundle barley into sheaves then the sheaves would be threshed to get just the grain.

Root vegetables like carrots and turnips would be stored in a wooden slat box in a root cellar. Onions would be stored in nets hung from the rafters. Berries would be mashed, have crystalized honey or maple sugar added, boiled to reduce, and then poured into glazed pots (or glass jars if those were available) then a wax seal on the top, a linen cover that was wrapped with twine and the twine knot sealed with bees wax.

Grain was stored in barrels and the amount needed for the daily bread was measured out and then ground by hand in a quern to make flour.

Apples would be stored in barrels and pickled cucumbers, vinegar, wine, and lard were stored in wooden kegs. Pork, beef, and venison would be smoked or salted and hung from the rafters like the onions were.

All decor that the game needs.
