You just have to been feed with lox pie serpent stew and bread , black metal shield lvl 3 can parry them easily with that build

Had a very similar experience, with maxed out armor + shield and with worse food (total 130 hp) i let the lox hit me twice (one aoe + one normal) - after that i had 65 hp left, then i rolled a couple of times till i got to 80 something hp (for safe measure) and had absolutely np blocking + stunning him a couple of times to finish him off...

Did they really buff lox or are ppl complaining because of the new block system?
His AI seems to be dumber actually, he was running around aimlessly quite for long at first, i could've killed him with the bow or even atgeir meanwhile.

PS: the only problem with lox is that the tamed ones need 10-15 mins of real life time to regenerate max stamina from 0 (going to sleep ingame does not shorten it, sadly).
