You should not be getting 1-shot by the strongest enemies. If you're getting 1-shot by the weakest, then you have a severe problem. If that problem is due to not knowing what you need to get stronger, then we can help, but if it's because you don't want to "grind" the gear and/or other items/upgrades, then the game is only going to get worse.
