First, if you are trying to get help, I wouldn't end the post the way you did.

Anyhow, are you certain there aren't any boulders underneath that it's hitting as waves come in?

An unseen event swimming up close to it?

Are you running mods?

EDIT: Saw the second guys post after I posted. Must be subs bug possibly I've been fortunate enough to not encounter... Yet.
