This. I don't like the reduction of rested buff duration either, but having the effect's duration and application calculated in consistent manner is pretty important too, especially for players who want to establish multiple bases, and when new updates with more comfort objects are made available.

Edit: Anyhow, the changes are still on the testing branch. They can easily increase comfort provided by one or two of the new or more rare comfort items so it's easier to get 18 or so comfort.
