My goal in playing a game is to spend (aka 'waste') time enjoying myself. I can enjoy cutting wood and back handing greylings across the forest - as long as I mix it up with various other things that are also called grinding.. same goes for just about any activity in the game with the possible exception of spending the night on a boat at sea waiting for dawn so I can get back to exploring.
