Other than that I wonder how good Wolves go up against plains mobs, even if you have a horde of them. If someone can tell me if it's worth it then I might consider taming them.

As for Boar taming it's pointless considering how quickly they respawn in meadows and at some point (late and post iron age) you don't need their resources (or have too many) anymore anyway.

Yeah, at least boar meat can be used in 2 foods (hp and stamina) but i don‘t know where to put all the deer meat, not speaking of the trophies (ok you can use 2 deer trophies for Eikthyr, but than his trophies and antler parts pike up) XD

Deer meat, we use exclusively for wolves, breeding and it heals them better than boar meat. Blueberry is better saved for potions and mead, so Deer stew isn't amazing to me, though it has its merits. Those trophies can also be used to make Stagbreaker, probably the most fun primitive weapon. Walk slow and carry a big stick.
