this game has no multi-day long timers where you gotta run it overnight as well. so why have a permanent server?

Cause others are from other countries with different time zones, not all my friends are from here, others wanna enjoy the game on the server we created, and it feels bad when they can't play it just cause I can't be on and run it, or leave a pc on and run it.
